Cleaning out my pictures that I save on my phone, here's what I found:
At a birthday dinner a few weeks ago. Did I ever mention our ten year anniversary is coming up in a few weeks? Many things are planned. A surprise even.
Sharon and I playing at Disneyland this week, she finally renewed her annual pass.

We had dinner and this fun dessert, then got tickets to see the World of Color show, but we got cold and bored so we left right before it started.
Matthew and I went back to Disneyland today, rode some rides, had an early dinner. Love dates with my youngest son.
Matthews first Pho dinner. He loved it, of course, because he's a foodie.
James' first formal was Friday night, he looks pretty dapper.
Tyler is now an expert at making balloon animals. He's a strange one, can teach himself to do anything with the help of YouTube.

Date Setting and the End of the World

In any given year you can find people predicting a date for the demise of the world. Often it is professing Christians who publish these forecasts regarding the timing of the rapture, Armageddon or the visible return of Christ. Some claim to have received personal revelation from God by means of visions or dreams. Others say they have calculated the time of one of these eschatological events through some elaborate theological study or some detailed research of Bible prophecy. Most of these dates come and go with little attention from the world and the media.
However, the date May 21, 2011 has made a splash on the pages of most major newspapers, almost every television news network, and has been sounded throughout a majority of the Christian population. May 21, 2011 is a date that has caught traction, due in large part to the publicity avenues and monetary resources available to the Family Radio Network, and more specifically because of the persistent teaching of its founder, president and primary voice, Harold Camping.
Camping is not new to date-setting. He predicted that Christ would return on September 15, 1994 then September 27, 1994. Of course, Camping was wrong, as was his popular predecessor, Edgar Whisenant who garnered a lot of attention with his widely distributed pamphlet “88 Reasons for the Rapture in 1988.” As a fairly new pastor in 1988 I still remember having to respond to the questions Whisenant’s much publicized predictions raised.
After several years in ministry, I hardly pay attention to this foolhardy date-setting practice that Christ himself promised would be futile. But if you are new to this destructive practice, which gives the world much for which to mock Christians, let me assure you that I condemn and disdain this kind of Bible abuse. Because historically the consequences are often much worse than just enduring the jeers and laughs of non-Christians, sometimes aberrant doctrines and theologies have been birthed when the followers of date-setters seek to reinvent themselves and their teachings in the wake of their embarrassment.
So steer clear and be confident that God has not revealed any specifics regarding the forthcoming dates of his eschatological plan. And be ready, always ready! “Be on guard, keep awake, for you do not know when the time will come” (Mk.13:33).

Matthew 24: 3-14
3As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?” 4And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. 5For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. 6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
9“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. 10And then many will fall awaya and betray one another and hate one another. 11And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
You can't guess the day or hour, just be sure that you are ready.

My friend Lisa and I hosted a table for the Spring Tea at our church. This year we did an "I Love Lucy" theme. Lisa had a closet full of memorabilia that shes collected over the years. We decided it would be way more fun to dress up as Lucy and Ethel during the event . I'm sure we looked silly, but it worked out really well and our table was a hit. This tea is always on mothers day weekend, so lots of moms and daughters come together. Its so cool to get to dress up for a luncheon, chat with all the ladies, drink tea, eat finger sandwiches, and hear a great message from our pastors wife.

My cousin just won her battle over cancer a few weeks ago. As of right now, she's cancer free. She came to visit for a few days and we decided it would be fun to have some pictures done together as a gift to our mommies for mothers day and because I thought it would be fun. The last time we sat for a picture together we were 18! As I've mentioned before, our moms are twins. Here's some of the pictures I liked best:
