Tyler turned 12 a few weeks ago. We had a very large party in the canyon, an airsoft war was played, little children swam, dessert nachos were consumed. Oddly, I did not remember to take many pictures. I know. Horrible mom.
Have you ever had dessert nachos? I highly recommend them. Cinnamon sugar tortilla crisps, topped with whatever delicious things you can find. Caramel, hot fudge, bananas, strawberries, toasted coconut and whipped cream to name a few. Awesomeness.

Here's what Tyler purchased with his birthday money. Scary. Did I mention Brett got shot in the face?

Football camp was fantastic. We had cheerleaders practicing dance routines and stunts, boys knocking each other over, water fights, challenging drills and awesome coaches. I love how dedicated adults come and give up three days to work with kids and teach them fun skills, and about Gods word. It's so cool. Basketball camp started today, it's just as fun.

Summer is under way! I am overseeing six weeks of summer camps for our church, and last week we did our first installment, baseball camp. Tyler and Matthew are participating in all of them, and even though my kids aren't very sporty, they're having lots of fun. Next week is football/cheer camp. James has been in summer school during the week, so between him and camps, I'm driving over 70 miles a day. Crazy.
