Last Weeks Nonsense

I hope this week proves to be a little less busy than last week. Life's been crazy, Brett's got all kinds of work right now, church is gearing up for all our Easter programs, the kids ministry is changing policies and procedures due to growth, and we are in planning for all our summer camps, so there's lots going on at my work these days too. It's a good busy. We have a few trips planned over the next few weeks, camping included, and my sweet husband just bought me a dirt bike so I would be inclined to spend more time with him. I'm kind of excited about it, I don't like sitting around at camp like a bored housewife.
Today I finished reading Jane Eyre again, I forgot how much I love that book. It's beautiful and dark and real. As much as I love Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte is easier to identify with and she paints such a vivid and colorful story, her characters are deep and flawed. The theology is sound. I was inspired to read it because I saw that a new Jane movie is coming out next month. It looks promising. Maybe I'll read Wuthering Heights again now. Maybe not. Anyways, heres some random pictures from last week:
My husband does not look as scared as he ought to right here.

Home fellowship, I made creme brûlée and taught one of our friends kids to use a torch.

While on the elliptical, I saw puppy bring this poor thing in the house. Puppy was making a beeline for my room, glad I caught her.

Got to love on a friends new baby this week, so sweet! My ovaries are screaming that we should acquire another one of these.

Pretty baby niece Aubrey, turning one this week, heading to northern California to see her and help celebrate her birthday.
