Canyon Life

Tyler went away with the junior high students to winter camp this weekend. It was his first time doing something like this, and he was a little nervous. As a matter of fact, I got a text late Friday night from him saying "pick me up". I called, he said his tummy was upset and he was homesick. I told him that he would be ok, the people he was with are like family and trustworthy, and unfortunately, I was not driving the two hours to come get him. He agreed to tough it out. I called my friend the director, and she had gone and comforted him some more, giving him a little encouragement, and a hug or two. By the next morning, he was all smiles again and that was that. He was glad he went and can't wait for summer revival. I love our church.
